This is my “This Week” favorite side dish!!
So refreshing, flavorful and YUMMYY~!!
I had at my friend’s house for the first time, and I just fell in love with it!!
I asked the recipe to my friend, and she said it’s all shrimp paste and mango.
So I recreated at my home! 🙂
It was so good, I had to make it to eat more and more!! lol
Mango Salsa with Shrimp Paste
Ingredients
1 Mango, peeled, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Hand full grape or cherry tomatoes, halves
3 green onions, chopped
1 Tablespoons chopped red onion
1 spicy green chili (Such as Serrano, jalapeno or cayenne), seeded, finely chopped
1 1/2 Tablespoon shrimp paste
A couple drops of lime juice (I mean, a couple drops!!)
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, mix it well.
*Chef’s Tip: Make sure when you buy mango for this recipe, it is still hard shape and green. Otherwise it won’t keep the shape.
A couple of drops of lime juice will change whole flavor of the dish. Remember, A COUPLE DROPS!
I ate with turkey lettuce wrap, oh man! It was amazing wrap with the ground turkey I made and rice!!
And also I had with my Filipinos paella, it was AWESOME too!!
I hope you guys enjoy this simple refreshing Mango Salsa with your favorite main dish!
