Hi everyone!
I hope you feel good today! If not, Just Smile right now! Don’t think about anything, just give a smile to yourself. Because you are worth it!
I’m so in to Vietnamese cuisine lately. As a first time, I made delicious Vietnamese comfort food, “Thit Kho”.
I watched some recipe videos on YouTube. I researched written recipes on books and internet also. And I just found out the “Same steps that everyone takes”.
Make caramel sauce, then stir-fry the pork, garlic and ginger; add coconut water or juice, season with fish sauce, then braise it for a while. Add hard boiled egg if you like to and TARANNN~ we are ready to serve Vietnamese caramelized pork! Serve with steamed rice, cucumber, cilantro, mint or some other herbs you prefer and pickled vegetable. I figured out the pickled vegetable will be kimchi for me! lol
I had cilantro and Asian basil (Thai basil) so I served with those. Sliced cucumber, green onion and Serrano chili! I wanted some spicy YO!
It has very deep flavor, savory and soft texture… ah, DELICIOUS!
Goes really well with kimchi! lol
Here are the videos I watched on YouTube.
My vegetables for Banh Mi is cucumber, cilantro, red chili and you don’t see on the picture but I put pickled radish too. ^-^
You can check my pickled radish recipe on my website :

Oh, we enjoyed so much!
I bought a frozen baguette to bake at home, but it was a little to skinny and hard texture for a sandwich. We scratched our mouth ceiling a lot with that bread. So next time I will try a softer and wider baguette to make Banh Mi. ^-^ Sure I will make it again VERY SOON! hahaha.
You want a bite~~? ^-^
Open you mouth~~~ AHHHHHHHHHHH~~
