- 1 lb. pork shoulder or butt, cut into bite sizes
- 1 Tbs mirin
- 1 Tbs sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 Tbs chopped garlic
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbs cooking oil
- 1 Tbs soy sauce
- 4 to 5 Serrano, jalapeno or green onion, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine pork and next 7 ingredients (until black pepper), marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a work or a skillet over high heat; add cooking oil and swirl to coat. add marinated pork, cook 8 to 10 minutes or until 3/4 way cooked and golden edges. Stir occasionally so it will cook and golden evenly.
- Drizzle soy sauce around edge of wok, so soy sauce will evaporate right away as soon as hit wok to give smokey flavor to pork.
- Add serrano and stir everything together about 1 minute. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds if you like. Enjoy!
