When you watch the video and see the recipe.. you understand WHY it went viral! It gives you “Ah-Ha!” moment!! Makes you feel wrong about how you’ve been making your egg sandwich! lol

This is EASIET way to make egg sandwich for yourself, big crowd/family and toddlers! Also you can make plan egg sandwich to add whatever flavor you’d love to have so it’s such a fun recipe to try at home!

Flavors are endless as pizza to be honest, so be creative! Here are some of my ideas for this one pan egg toast:

  • American cheese + strawberry jam
  • cheddar + bacon
  • chive + feta cheese
  • guada + honey ham + maple syrup
  • green onion + spam
  • mushroom + truffle oil

Today, I’m going to make the top 3 of the flavor ideas. Let’s get started!

Beat 2 large or 3 small eggs with pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

Heat a large skillet over medium low heat, add butter and let it melt completely.

Pour egg mixture and swirl to spread egg omelet evenly on pan.

Carefully dip and flip each half of breads to coating with egg. Lay them about 1-inch a part.

If you want to use chive, green onions or mushrooms, sprinkle on top of the egg now, so they will get chance to cook when we flip them over. 🙂

When eggs are set, carefully flip it over.

Cook about 30 seconds to 1 minutes and fold all sides of egg into middle, top of breads.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tsp unsalted butter per toast
  • 2 large or 3 small eggs, beaten with pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 sliced bread per toast, cut into half

Flavor Ideas

  • 1 sliced American cheese + 1 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1 sliced cheddar + 2 pieces of cooked bacon
  • 1 tbsp chopped chive + feta cheese

Gotta try this! But first, I have to know, what kind of pan are you using? It looks like stainless steel but I would think the eggs would stick. Thanks!
