Korean BBQ Side Dish Recipe : Korean Chive Salad : Garlic Chives Recipe

by Seonkyoung

Hi guys!

This Korean Chive Salad is one of my favorite side dish when I’m eating Korean BBQ or Bossam
It’s very refreshing yet very flavorful and make meat (especially pork) tastes even better! It is such a great side dish with fatty meat because it balances the flavor and fattiness.

In Korean chive is known for one of the best vegetables for blood circulation. So when I eat fatty pork or fatty part of beef(because they taste SO good but not so good for your body..), I always make sure paring with chive salad for flavor and health both reason. Hope you enjoy this Korean chive salad at your home!

I have already thick cut pork belly, not a whole long piece. Can I still follow recipe for the flavor and just reduce boiling, simmering time? I want to try something different in lettuce wrap instead of grilling the thick cut pork belly.
