Hi Guys!!
Long time no talk~~!! I’ve been CRAZY BUSY!!! But I love it!! I have no time to look back regret and just keep going going going forward!!! Living my dream right?! 😉
Any ways, I thought it would fun for me and also let you guys know what is going on with me after I won the Food Network show, Restaurant Express!
So, I’m going to try to share my life in Vegas, – Vegas Life, Baby!!
Hope you guys enjoy my blog about my life in Vegas as much as I enjoy my Vegas life!!
Lots of things has changed with my life since I won the show, some good and some bad. But I’m trying to focus on what I can control and makes me happy- the good things.
Lately I’m really enjoying coffee! Well, I’ve been in love with coffee for a long time, but I do only black.
The other day, I went to this Vietnamese restaurant call Saigon8 in Henderson, and I had Vietnamese crispy craps and chicken pho. After the full satisfy meal, I wanted to have some coffee. A Starbucks was right next to the restaurant so I was going to go there, but then I saw this Vietnamese restaurant’s dessert menu! “Vietnamese style iced coffee” caught my eyes and I ordered with boba(tapioca pearls)!!! I was on the way nail salon because it was my day off, and a glass of Vietnamese iced coffee with bona was perfection while I was sitting on massage chair and doing pedicure!
I was a happy girl!! 😉
Same day, I was going to editing video – Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup(I uploaded already! Check it right here! –> http://youtu.be/NSUv_7UG_E4 ). Meanwhile I was hungry. But I wanted to finish editing video so even time of cooking dinner was precious to me! So I decided to roast some country style boneless pork meat in 350 degrees oven, season with salt, pepper and bit of sugar for caramelize. This way, I didn’t have to babysit the food in the kitchen and I could keep editing my video! Double duty, that’s what I call! lol I heated up pre-cooked rice that portioned for 1 serving- you can buy from store – stick rice, jasmine rice, brown rice and even mixed grain rice!
I ate with picked radish and carrot (I had in my refrigerator) and Ssam-Jang sauce (Korean spicy bean paste dipping sauce) that has lots of garlic, green onion, chili, sesame oil and sesame seeds!
I spent about 10 minutes to put everything together, watch the lettuce and that was it! What a winner dinner!! WOOTWOOT~!! And the best part, I finished editing video while I’m eating this satisfying 10 minutes dinner!! YEAH!
Since I came to Las Vegas, I really miss my hubby so much. Lots of people say why he can’t/doesn’t transfer to Air Force bas in NV? It’s because something we can’t control. It’s not his choice. Of course we want to be together, and if he could transfer that easily to the base in NV we probably already did. Because so many people asking without considering our feeling, it almost hurts my feeling.
He can visit me maybe once a month because he is also very busy with his job. The most hardest part is we can’t even talk on the phone much, because our work time is deferent also Miss is 2 hours ahead of NV. When he going to go work or lunch time, I’m in asleep or busy getting ready for work. When I get off from work, he is already in bed. (like midnight or 1 or 2 in the morning his time and normally he has to get up 5 or 6 in the morning)
It’s been tough, let me tell you.
But I’m having fun as much as I can. I send this kinda picture to my hubby so he can laugh. 😉
I do whatever makes me feel good, such as wearing kitty cat hair band…lol We hope we being a part is not that long time of our life…
I love you all, thank you for much for all your support!!!! I never can’t thank enough.
Good luck on everything you do, be happy!!!
