Hi guys!
I’m finally sharing my first air fryer recipe with you, super excited!!
I’ve using air fryer for a few months now and I’ve been LOVING it!!!
It’s so fast, easy to use, don’t need to baby sit- it’s pretty much if an oven and a oil deep fryer got married and made the best baby ever!
I’ve air fried wings, tofu and many more and those recipes are also coming but today, let’s make air fryer riblets!
Riblets are cutting a full set of spare ribs approximately in half. It’s short, flat ribs where the curved part of the rib is removed.
Cut the riblets into single pieces with the bones.
Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, shaoxing wine and white pepper in a bowl. Whisk until sugar has completely dissolved.
Add the ribblets and some large garlic cloves into the marinade and marinate at least 2 hours to overnight.
Preheat the air fryer to 360°F
Add ribblets and garlic cloves into heated air fryer, be careful not to add marinade juices into the air fryer.
Fry the ribblets for 6 minutes then shake it off to fry them evenly and then fry additional 6 minutes.
Meanwhile let’s make the dipping sauce!
You don’t have to make the dipping sauce, but it’s more fun and refresh to eat with the dip!
Combine chopped garlic, cilantro, Thai chili flakes, roasted rice powder, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar and lime or lemon juice.
If you like to, serve the ribblets on a bed of green onion, chive or green leaves for a beautiful presentation!
Enjoy!

I love you Seonkyoung.
Hi Seonkyoung, i love your recipes. I don’t have an air fryer instead can I use an oven. What is the cooking time? Thank you my dear
How would I substitute the dark soy sauce? Thanks.
There actually isn’t a substitute for dark soy sauce, the only purpose of the dark soy sauce was only for the dark color in the ribs, so you can use regular soy sauce instead and still have similar results.
Hi Seonkyoung, I made this recipe and I loved it! Thanks for sharing your talent in cooking.
I was wondering if there is a way to make the ribs more tender. Can it be boiled a bit before marinating it overnight? It would be quite awesome if it could almost just fall off the bones.
Thanks!
Just made these and they are delicious! My daughter caught me twirling around with happiness because they taste so good 🙂
Delicious recipe! We loved it! So quick and easy.

What would be the cooking time using boneless pork chunks cut the same size as the spareribs? Love your recipes!
