Spicy Pork

Hi guys! Lately I’m filming “Asian at Home” in Hotel room, because we are waiting our new house to be finished its contraction!

I posted this easy and simple Korean spicy pork (AKA Pork Bulgogi) picture on my Instagram(instagram.com/Seonkyoung) and Facebook (Facebook.com/SeonkyoungLongest).

So many of you asked me this recipe!

I made Korean spicy pork recipe a long time ago, you can still find right here~!

This new Korean Spicy Pork Recipe is much more simple, easy and quick than my old recipe so I hope you guys try one day!

You can serve with just a bowl of warm rice, it is super delicious!

My favorite way to eat is though, wrap it with rice in lettuce! I always use mixture of greens and herbs whatever fresh in market.
In this video I used green and red lettuce, raw cabbage, Korean wild sesame leaves(perilla/깻잎) and crown daisy (Tong ho/쑥갓).

What if i do not use apple juice and green onion? Whether it will affect the taste?

It will a bit, apple juice adds natural bright sweetness to the dish while green onion add nice fresh finish and color at the end. Doesn’t mean you can’t make it without it though! 😉

Made this recipe today because I had a craving for it. It was easy to follow and it was delicious. My wife has always listened to me talk about how good Korean food is and she fell in love with this dish. Next is 김치찌개!

Hi seonkyoung! you are seriously my favorite! I wanted to know, can I use sriracha or sambal in place of the red pepper flakes/chili? I want the dish to be spicy, but I only have sambal and sriracha on hand.

Can you update this recipe to your recipe from your live show? And how to get possibly substitute ingredients that wouldn’t be easily found if someone isn’t able to shop at a Korean market? Plus during your live show for this recipe, you made some dipping sauce. This doesn’t have it on it. Was hoping it had it. Hope you update! Love your recipes!

My family and I loved this dish it was super easy to make. We just couldn’t keep our forks down. Maybe next time I’ll get the spicier chili paste.

I wasn’t able to find Sempio’s soy sauce (GanJang) in stores that was near me, so I was wondering if it’s just fine to use any soy sauce?
