The second day at the Vegas!
Me and my mother in-law went to Whole Food Market to get some beverage and some food.
I’ve been Whole Food a couple of times, and every time I go there I always wish that I could come here for my grocery.
I go to grocery shopping to commissary(it’s on base, usually they are very huge and good. But the one we have in Columbus is very tiny and small…), Walmart, Kroger and Asian market(that 30min away).
I’m so thirsty of beautiful and verity organic vegetables, fresh seafood, great quality of meat and more..
Like this!
Awesome, aren’t they?
As a person who loves to cook and loves to try new things, beautiful and fresh ingredients are heaven.
I always try new things with what I have, but when I go to the big cities and see beautiful ingredients like these, I just am crashed. But I’m not going to be sad about what I can’t do. I’m smarter than that. I just hope and have a positive mind that one day I can go to grocery shopping somewhere like this, and bring the best out of what I have right now.
So, I enjoyed as much as I could over there! With taking lots of pictures. lol
Oh, I found my favorite Korean bottled tea at Whole Food!
17tea (Sip Chil Cha)
It’s none sweet and so much flavor!!
A huge section of the world-wide beer, which is Jacob’s heaven. lol
Even more HUGE wine awesomeness, which is my heaven.
To go with the wine awesomeness, here is the endless cheese fantasy.
Ah, how awesome is to come here and pick wine and cheese for entertaining. 🙂
After the shop at the Whole Food Market, we back to the room and we started getting ready for dinner. Believe or not, my mother in-law and I spent almost 3 hours at Whole Food. lol
We went Todai in Planet Hollywood.
We saw a video of this seafood buffet, it looked pretty good and one of our parents friend had a coupon for the buffet. So we decided to go there for dinner.
Some reason I didn’t feel so comfortable, but it’s a Las Vegas seafood buffet so has to be pretty good, right?
Yeah, as you can see… it was just ok.
Sushi selection wasn’t impressed, it was just you can see local Chinese/Japanese buffet.
Their tempura was pretty good but it was cold. I saw Galbi(Korean BBQ), I grabbed with some rice and kimchi. The kimchi actually was pretty good!! But the Galbi was again, cold and tough. So I finished my rice with kimchi.. lol As you can see, the udon noodles was ok too. Something you will expect from buffet.
Yeah, we got full, but not a happy belly. You know, when you get full by ok/bad food you feels like you wasted or something. So, Jacob and I started walking around to forget about the dinner and burn all the wasted calories. lol
We were walking around inside Planet Hollywood and there are so many cool things to look at!! So many shiny and bling blings! My favorite!
We went hat shop and it was so cool shop. I wanted to take a picture with a hat, but I shouldn’t do it..
After I took this picture, I saw the sign on the mirror says “Don’t take picture!”
OOPS! SORRY!
I won’t do it again!! haha
We are in Vegas, so we had to play gamble at least a bit, Jacob said.
Personally I don’t like gamble at all. If you like it, ok, it’s fine. It’s what you enjoy. I just can’t enjoy it, it’s my personality. To me it feels like wasting or throw money away and I don’t like that feeling.
But we are in Vegas so we played slot machine, only $20.
My $20 was gone by under 10 min.
All the thoughts of how I could spend my $20 better way than the gambling… running inside of my head and I got dizzy. Oh, yeah I’m serious. I asked Jacob to take me outside for fresh air.
lol
You can laugh at me. I even did at myself.
This night I felt so terrible.
But let me tell you, I found a way to enjoy it.
If I have a sit with Jacob on a couple slot machine, right next to a bar where play loud music. It was enjoyable. It was fun.
So far, I found 2 casinos have all the conditions. lol
It was New York New York and Rio.
Oh, yeah, we enjoyed playing slot machine for 30min to 1 hour, we didn’t spend more than $10 (believe or not) and we actually won close to $300 total! lol
I think we played 2 more times after this night.
So, even though something you don’t like it at all, you might able to find a way to enjoy it! Importantly, control yourself (especially, gambling).
Enjoy your life and make the best out of everything!
