Ok, in this blog I really need to be honest.
And to be honest with you, I didn’t like this small new Thai restaurant in our town when I visited very first time.
I don’t remember why I didn’t like it, all I remember is I didn’t want to go back.
But one of my good friend, Gretchen wanted to go that restaurant,
and trying to explain how great the soup was!
She was saying, the “Tom kha gai” in the restaurant is great!
So, I was thinking, give them one more chance.
And I believe her taste too.
So we went there last Thursday for lunch.
I ordered Tom kha gai and Panang curry.
I never had tom kha gai before, (My Thai soup experience was only tom yam goong)
Really?! I was missing this delicious food out there?!
I couldn’t believe how good it was…
Creamy coconut milk, lemon grass, ginger, vegetables and meat all together…
It was heavenly.
And the panang curry was great too, but tom kha gai got me too strongly,
so the impact wasn’t as strong as the soup was.
But I ate it all.
I wanna go back there so bad right now, I probably go some time this week!
I really enjoyed it and loved it!!
Thank you Gretchen for the opportunity that let me try one more time,
if it wasn’t you, I’m still missing out!
I’m coming back soon!!!
More pictures from another day, I went with my husband
Thai beef salad, call Yum Nua (Yum Neua)
OMG, was spicy and DELISHHHH!!!!!
I defiantly order again next time!
Tom Yum Talay (Seafood soup, no spicy)
It was delicious also!
It tastes like tom kha gai without coconut milk.
Or tom yum gung with out spicy??
Anyway, tastes good, what is matter, right?! haha
And this is what Jacob ordered, Hot Basil with Chicken (Pad Kra Prow)
Jacob is not really into Thai food, but he loved this dish and the beef salad (Yum Nua)
The foods were very spicy and hot, which is AWESOME!
After the spicy food, we went McDonald to get some 55cents Ice cream corn! lol
What a perfect ending!
