Hi guys!!!
I finally am back home and ready to rock and roll in my kitchen again!!!
I was so impressed how my hubby was doing and all your love and support!!!
You are the best!!! Stay awesome guys!!!
So, I read all the posts my hubby posted, and all I could say is “WOW”, I mean BIG WOW!!
What a talented man?! 😀 That’s my hubby~
He still have a couple of posts that he was planing to share with y’all, and he will continued to finish up what he was going to post on this blog, so don’t be so sad that I came back! lol
So, now… I came back to my kitchen and look at the pantry and the refrigerator, I have no idea what I’m gonna make as a first meal without going to the grocery shopping.
Feels like I’m filming a cooking show (like “Chopped”) or something at home. lol
No protein…. But we had some frozen seafood that “I” left before I left, and some eggs.
The good thing is he had lots of vegetable at home, so I could come up with very good first homecoming meal! lol
I made seafood egg noodle soup with asparagus and spinach!
The broths is made with chicken broth, I added chili and ginger and seasoned with fish sauce and soy sauce.
Bring to boil, then add mussels. Bring back to boil and then I added spinach, asparagus, cherry tomatoes and egg noodles.
Mean while, I pan fried shrimp with sweet chili sauce.
And finish the noodles soup with adding fresh lime juice!
Taran~!! There you have it! Quick Asian Seafood Soup with Spinach, Asparagus and tomatoes!
Wish we had some cilantro, but it’s OK! It was delicious! 🙂
Top the noodles soup with pan fried shrimp(which has nice flavor from sweet chili sauce!) and extra lime juice~!
I was so happy to welcoming my hubby with delicious smell in the house at lunch time as I did always. 🙂
And it seems like he was very happy too. 🙂 hehehe
We had very nice “first” lunch time together since I came back, it was lovely.
It was so funny that we were using exactly same ingredients but somehow he made totally his style dishes and I made totally Asian dish! lol I guess it really is about how you look at it! 🙂
I’m so happy to be home and cooking for my hubby!!!
That’s what I truly enjoy and of course, share with all of you!
If I was cooking only for us and never share with all of you, I probably never make the dish pretty! lol And probably not try as hard as I do now.
So thank you SO-MUCH for inspiring me, motivating me, and mostly, loving me.
You have no idea how much I’m grateful for your love and support.
You guys are truly awesome.
I’m saying all these from my heart, you can trust me.
Without you, I won’t be here.
I keep writing my recipes and recording cooking videos not only because I love to do, because you guys would love to enjoy what I do!
That’s blessing.
I’m very lucky and blessed, so I wish same for you too.
I love you all.
XOXO

You know what they say; absence makes the heart grow fonder. I am glad you are back! I love the square clear dish, it really makes for taking great photos of your food. I want to try this recipe.
