Do you like ramen?
Do you eat ramen often?
I love ramen and I eat too often then I need to… Lol!
Today I wanted to introduce you guys my recent favorite Korean instant ramen noodles!
Its called “Bul Jjamppong“!
Jjamppong is Korean-Chinese spicy seafood noodle soup.
This ramen definitely has the spicy seafood noodle soup flavor but it’s nothing less than real version of it.
Why?
Because they some how figured out to give nice smokey flavor as the real one has to the ramen!
Oh, man..
When I had this ramen first time, I was like “OMG! Never tasted ramen this good!!!”
Shin-ramen used to be my all time favorite Korean instant ramen, but now… this Bul Jjamppong changed it all.
You can find this Bul Jjamppong at your local Asian/Korena grocery stores or online!
Just to letting you now, instant ramen is not healthy food that you shouldn’t eat too often though.
Most of the times it has too much fat (from deep frying the noodles) and sodium.
But once in a while, it’s okay. 😉
As most of the instant ramen does, it has the directions of how to cook the ramen.
Most of the time, following the directions of the package is the BEST way to cook the ramen.
Because all the measurement of water, cooking time is developed with science.
After so many tests, they found the way to make the best taste of that ramen.
Doesn’t mean you can’t be creative, but try as what the direction says too, before adding all kinds of ingredients you’d like to have in your ramen.
Bul Jjamppong package has ramen noodles, sauce package, dried ingredients package and flavor oil .
The flavor oil is the killer, you definitely don’t want to skip- Truth is, skipping 1 tsp of oil is not going to much if you trying to reduce the amount of the fat in ramen… lol!
But if you do want to reduce some of the fat, cook the ramen noodles in separate pot, rinse then add into the ramen soup, because that’s where the most of fat is coming from.
I like to cook ramen by following the directions, then take noodles out from the pot first.
I do this because when I add egg into ramen, the egg won’t stick to the noodles!
And no worries, with out soup & in a cold bowl, the noodles won’t get any puff!
Add some green onions if you like, most time I do, but I skipped today because I was being so lazy!! lol
And of course, enjoy your ramen with kimchi!
Cold, sour and spicy kimchi completes ramen!!
I love ramen.
I know it’s not the best thing for your health.
but….
I can’t help myself!
lol
