2013 is here guys~!!
Are you ready to rock n roll 2013?!
I wish everyone’s happiness, success, and healthy 2013, the best year, yet!!
Guess what we had for the last meal last year while we are celebrating the new year?!
Calamari and lobster risotto!
It was so so delicious and of course, I cook it!
Panko breaded calamari, looks delicious, isn’t it?!
It’s same process as how I made chicken katsu, which is so easy and delicious!
I also made yum yum sauce to dip! 🙂
My yum yum sauce is quite delicious, you guys should try!
yum yum sauce
6 Tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Sriracha(Asian chili sauce)
Juice from 1/2 of fresh lemon (About 1 1/2 teaspoon)
1 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon apple juice or sprite
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and mix well.
After we enjoyed calamari and yum yum sauce as our appetizer, I started working on entree.
I introduce my friend, Bob!!
Say “Hi!” lol
I’ve never cook alive lobster before.. But I did for my family for the New Year’s eve dinner!
I was kinda scary and sad to kill Bob, what I’ve got to do is what I’ve got to do.
I thought it would be really easy, but it wasn’t.
When I grabbed him, he started moving and I felt so bad for him. But then I thought, I’m gonna cook this lobster very well and we gonna enjoy it very much tonight.
So, that made me work through. 🙂
I boiled lobster then took out all the meat. Made lobster stock with the shells and then I made risotto with it.
I served with arugula salad dressed with evoo, balsamic, salt and pepper.
It was SO-DELICIOUS!
What did you guys had for last/first meal of the year?!
